Today the AFA welcomes announcements from both NSW and Victoria on restrictions easing, allowing festivals to get back to business. In NSW in particular, Friday 25th February will mark 711 days since music festival businesses were able to operate unrestricted.
We have been advocating for the safe reopening of our festivals so we can play our part in the economic, employment and social recovery that is so desperately needed in our communities. Today’s announcements couldn’t have come soon enough for this industry.
